The Cumbor Arched Baby Gate prioritizes the safety of your little ones while also bringing a more stylish look to your home. Taller and more sturdy than most other baby gates of this type, it creates an effective barrier for your large pets and kids up to 2 years of age.
When you receive the gate, you may notice a gap between the lock and the door frame. This gap is normal because this gate is installed through reaction force. We remind you not to cut the zip tie on the bars, for easier installation! Rest assured, the gap will disappear after the installation is completed.
The Cumbor Baby Gate is designed for your convenience. As you install, do not cut the plastic tie holding the gate in place. When installed with the pressure mounting system, the gate can remove any time without difficulty.
First, take measurements of your door. If needed, add the extensions. Next, place the gate where you plan to install it. Use a pencil to mark the position of the wall cups and screw holes. Use a drill to punch the holes. Insert the wall anchors and, using a hammer, tap them in place. Attach wall cups with screws and a screwdriver. Place the gate into the wall cups. Rotate the tension bolts to increase the pressure. Use the provided key to tighten the tension bolts until the gap disappears.
A distance of 1.89 inches between the supports ensures the gate has a superior weight bearing capacity and remains sturdy even when leaned on by your curious kids or playful pets. This gate is perfect for stairs, doorways and large openings, fitting openings from 29.7" to 46". Curious toddlers and young children often are fascinated by the bathroom. Keeping them away from cleaning supplies, soaps and the access to water can improve your peace of mind.
The main gate width is 27.95 inches, with Extension ONE at 7.87 inches and Extension TWO at 2.75 inches. The door is not suitable for a width range of less than 29.7" or greater than 46". We recommend you install our gate on solid and flat pillars and walls.
For maximum safety, we recommend a perforated installation with the Wall Cups firmly fixed to the wall. If you need to remove the gates, tie together the gate latch and the frame with strings first, then loosing the pressure bolts.
